Welcome to SeniorCurlingNews.com. Curling is a team game with similarities to bowls and shuffleboard, played by two teams of four players each on a rectangular sheet of carefully prepared ice. Teams take turns sliding heavy, polished granite stones down the ice towards the target (called the house).

Curling equipment includes: "brooms", shoes, gloves, brushes, sliders, grippers, and a wide array of ring supplies.

Popular location: Curling in Canada is grown in tremendous popularity, it is working it's way down, but Canada Curling is hot right now.

Curling Association

Here is information from previous website, an overview of an association for your resource. Welcome to the USSMCA Senior Curling News web site. The United States Senior Men's Curling Association (USSMCA) is made up of all of the chairmen of the National Senior Championship bonspiels. The USSMCA establishes the guidelines for the Senior Curling Championships and also selects the site for for the Annual event. To host this event it is preferable to have 12 sheets of ice available. This is usually done by having several clubs in the same vicinity combine their efforts to put on the event. Any clubs interested in hosting the event can contact us by email at the address given on the last page or by mail at USSMCA, c/o Sam MacNeill, 6421 Washington Circle, Wauwatosa, WI 53213-2457.

This website also has the schedules and won-lost records for the WISCA event, a 20 team league representing 10 southeastern Wisconsin Curling Clubs and one Chicago Club. The won-lost records will be updated monthly or oftener.
